AF Marathon Spectator Gathering Site
September 15, 2017 • 7–11 am
The Fly Zone is a place, an event and a way to support our troops. It also, just so happens to be the ideal place (between mile 8.5 through mile 10) on the 26.2-mile US Air Force Marathon course for friends, family and spectators to see the marathoners. Not once, but the only chance to see them twice! Marathoners enter downtown Fairborn on mile 8.5 and return on the base at mile 10.5. Fairborn FlyZone is also one way the Miami Valley can support our troops, the Air Force and last but not least the marathon runners.
At the Fly Zone you will find:
Restaurants • Shuttle to and from Start/Finish Line • Live Bands • Food Truck • Cool Shade • Hotel & Motels within walking distance
